Bonded abrasives are cutting tools made by mixing abrasive grain (aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, or ceramic) with a bonding agent, then pressing and curing it into a rigid wheel. That rigid structure makes bonded abrasives the right choice for aggressive material removal - grinding welds, cutting metal stock, and chamfering edges - where flexible coated abrasives would flex or wear too fast.

How to Choose a Bonded Abrasive Wheel
Match the wheel to the machine, the task, and the material:

What's the difference between a grinding wheel and a cut-off wheel?
